FARA is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, consisting of a dedicated group of over 200 volunteer radio operators, offering technical training, amateur license exams and education. Providing both routine and emergency communications support to the Falmouth community and the region. Communications is provided for notable events such as the Falmouth Road Race, and the Cape Cod Marathon. Local area emergency shelter operations and EOC support are also provided by FARA.
